Business Continuity

The Securities Center, Inc. is prepared to deal with customer issues and customer accounts in the event of a Significant Business Disruption (SBD) or inability of the Main Office or any branch office to remain in business.  If it is a branch office that you are unable to reach, please contact the Main Office at (800) 244-1718 or at (619) 426-3550.  If the Main Office cannot be reached then seek to reach James Biddle at the Downtown San Diego Branch office at (619) 401-8892 or at his home phone (619) 425-1947 or at his cell phone (619) 602-2464.  If you have a brokerage account with us that is carried by our clearing firm, Wedbush Morgan Securities (Wedbush), they can be reached directly at (213) 688-4568.  Accounts that are held by mutual fund or insurance companies should contact those companies directly.  Updated information will also be promptly posted on this website.

In any event, after a SBD, The Securities Center, Inc. intends to recover quickly, resume business operations, and respond by safeguarding our employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm's books and records and allowing our clients to transact business.  There can never be total assurance that a regional blackout, terrorist attack, or major natural disaster would not interupt our ability to continue business transactions.  Wedbush has also dedicated significant resources to maintaining a business continuity plan.

A full copy of the Business Continuity Plan is provided to customers on opening a new account and is available for review at anytime at the company's Home Office or any of it's Branch Offices or will be provided to you on written request to the address below.  The plan will be updated anytime there is a material change in our operations, structure, business, or location or to those of Wedbush.
